Misaki Tataki

The Misaki Tataki is a purpose-built tool for the productive, boat-based Tataki technique.
Its robust construction from Super Light High Modulus Carbon and the secure Fuji DSPS casting reel seat are engineered for the forceful, repetitive sweeps this method demands.

The rod's key strength is managing a multi-jig rig - typically 2 or 3 jigs like the Misaki Elochibi or Ebi Madani, topped with a sinker. The 120-gram capacity refers to this total system weight, not a single heavy jig.
This setup allows you to work an entire column of water, probing for schools of squid.
