The Egi +Cast Slow Flat 3.5 is a 17 g eging jig built to cover a lot of water from shore without losing control of the fall. Its aerodynamic design allows casts of 50 to 80 meters.
Instead of the traditional feather, it features phosphorescent silicone swimming fins that generate a constant micro-vibration on both the retrieve and the fall, even in very little current. They also work as a dynamic brake: the egi sinks more slowly and gives off a low-frequency turbulence that catches the attention of cephalopods.
It sinks at 5 seconds per meter with a horizontal, flat fall (Flat Drop). It keeps the casting capacity of a heavy lure, reaching about 70 meters in favorable conditions, and allows slow fishing in shallow water.
It works well in shallow areas, with weed, on mixed sand and rock bottoms with obstacles, over posidonia or uneven bottoms, and when squid are in the upper layers and call for a very slow descent.
It has luminescent eyes and PTFE-coated double hook crowns for smoother penetration into the squid's flesh and greater resistance to salinity.
